Geoff, nice fly. It's so much easier tying from back to front: tail, rib, body, case, & thorax.

Certainly looks as if it will take wild brown trout anywhere, super looking fly.👍

Hi Geoff; from Canada,Alberta. Just a few notes. Your right Geoff, this fly was very hard. Although I am a beginner it took me 1 hr. to finish it, however, I did it and it looks great... Great spider fly I tie one similar

Reminds me of a lake wet that I can't remember how to spell it. It is only hen hackle for the fly. No body just hen hackle with different colors.
